Oops Japan, an online medical brand that provides services of all kinds to help solve medical problems, commissioned Simon Landrein to create no less than 12 gifs. These fun animations guide the new viewer by showing the symptoms of our health hassles in an approachable and, as always, charming way.
For example, through Simon’s pencil, AGA’s hair loss is translated through different funky hairstyles, expressing the benefit of taking specialized medicine, showing how a pill makes everyday life more comfortable, and all with a positive and trustworthy vibe.
Simon Landrein is a French illustrator and animator. He started to work as a 3D artist for studios such as Nexus and the Mill. For a few years his minimalist and irreverent style appeared in the New Yorker and NY Times.
Since then he’s been working for many editorial clients and translate his illustration into hot and absurd animations. Clients include The New Yorker, It’s Nice That, NYT, The Observer, Apple, Nike, Personal Magazin, Le Monde, and Rick and Morty.
