TRELLIS

COLLABORATION WITH RESEARCHERS

Last winter, Pocko collaborated with University College London (UCL) to design the communication content for the Trellis program, in which they will exhibit co-creation artworks from UCL researchers, east London communities, and local artists in March 2024.

Our goal was to design the Trellis visual identity, produce a full communication content package, and deliver visual content for various channels, including social media content, marketing materials (web banner, email invitation), and print (billboards, posters, booklets, etc).

There were 6 groups of “artists x researchers” who got involved in the Trellis exhibition. The biggest challenge was to translate the theoretical concepts into visual-compelling content, enhance the engagement with the Trellis audience, and at the same time develop a shared identity for the whole Trellis that also represents the diversity from different groups.

“Working with Pocko helped us see new opportunities for ways to generate an audience and focus more clearly on who we wanted to be targeting”

“Pocko were really easy to work with and quick to respond to feedback. They even put up with us when we kept changing our minds!”

“The design-led campaign that Pocko came up with was really in tune with the message we were trying to communicate.”
