Nomoco is a Japanese illustrator who works delicately with ink flow to achieve beautiful, charming and colourful artwork.
Nomoco was born in Fukuoka, Japan and graduated from Osaka University of Arts, London College of Communication and Central Saint Martins College in Art & Design. Nomoco has exhibited her work in globally in solo and group shows.
She has won multiple awards for her Illustration work, including the UKLA Book Award for Once Upon A Raindrop, and the World Illustration Awards. Clients include: Harper Collins, Stacy’s Pita Chips, Reader’s Digest, Audi, DK, The Guardian, Financial Times, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Atria Books, New York Times, Red Magazine, NSPCC, Penguin Books, Taschen, Volvo, and Folio Society.
